Arriving in Taksim: what to expect
- İstiklal Avenue is pedestrian. If your hotel is on or just off it, the closest point a vehicle can reach may be a short walk away. Tell us the hotel name and we plan the drop-off in advance.
- Steep, narrow side streets. Many hotels sit on hills around Cihangir, Galata and Tünel. Your driver knows the practical approach roads.
- Evening traffic. Roads around Taksim, Harbiye and Şişli are busiest in the late afternoon and evening. Allow extra time on departures.
